What we access
247 Compass reads your device's built-in orientation sensor (the standard browser DeviceOrientation API) so it can show the direction your device is facing. That's the only sensor it touches.
What we don't do
- We do not access your GPS location.
- We do not collect, log, or transmit any personal data.
- We do not use cookies, analytics, or trackers.
- We do not have a backend server - the compass runs entirely in your browser.
Permissions
On iPhone/iPad, your browser will ask for explicit permission before sharing motion & orientation data. You can revoke this at any time in your device's browser settings.
